The Study Center of the Argentine Industrial Organization (CEU) is a space of analysis, research, diffusion and advice, whose aim is to strengthen the technical skills of the different actors committed to the promoting the industrial development in Argentina.
Its mission is to contribute to the debate on the productive goals of our country and to boost industrial insertion within a model of social and economic development.
The CEU deals with all those topics that are related to structural economic constraints both in our country and abroad, and it publishes macroeconomic, sectorial and situation reports that outline some recommendations in order to improve the competitiveness of our country.

Debates on the economic situation and industrial policy with the participation of distinguished academics and outstanding personalities of both the private and public sectors. The discussions address topics related to technological innovation, industrial policy, situation of the SMEs, and labor dynamics among others.
The CEU carries out studies and analysis of different issues related to industrial policy and development. The results of this research are published as articles at a rate of around 50 every year, plus technical reports and documents on economic issues in general and industrial matters in particular. The diffusion of the main results is accompanied with debates and articles in the press. The range of topics tackled includes different aspects such as the situation of industry in the context of a global crisis, strategic thinking and industrial development, the dynamic of the labor market, value chains and regional development, and opportunities and challenges regarding productive funding, among other topics. Recent projects have focused on the structural diversity of Argentine economy (with special attention to informality) as well as its external projection and bilateral relations with strategic partners such as Brazil.
The CEU possesses a periodically-updated database with information about the different sectors as well as the economic variables of Argentina and the world. It is also possible to check projections of macroeconomic variables and indicators related to commercial exchange, tariffs and rules of origin for Argentina, Brazil and the rest of the world.
The CEU organizes meetings to discuss different aspects of the economic situation in general and the position of the industry in particular, both in the short and long terms. This includes the possibility of organizing in-company breakfasts coordinated by economists of the CEU.
The CEU offers training to its subscribers on different issues related to business activities, such as economic perspective, foreign trade, sectorial and fiscal analysis and labor issues, among others.
