We analyze, debate and advance on regulations and policies related to trade –both domestic and foreign- that have impact on the industrial development, with the aim of fostering the competitiveness of the sector.
We follow-up on strategic areas related to international negotiations with other countries or regions and we monitor governmental initiatives and public policies that may impact in the productive structure of the country.
We also represent the UIA on public and private forums that are related to trade and international cooperation (namely “Foro Consultivo Económico Social del Mercosur”, BID, AILA and AFIP, among others).
We elaborate trade situation reports and studies of impact, monitoring foreign trade indicators and developments. We also present requests and/or claims before the pertinent governmental bodies and give advice to the members of the institution.
All business entities and chambers associated to UIA can appoint members to take part in the activities organized by the department.
