We analyze the challenges and problems of SMEs in order to elaborate proposals that improve the competitiveness of Argentine industries. The department is composed of micro, small and medium industries, and representatives of regional and sectorial chambers.
We address the agenda of topics related to the sector: financial tools, tax structure, regulation and foreign trade matters. We also organize meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Production and Labor, authorities of public banks such as the Banco Nación, Banco Provincia, and Banco de Inversión y Comercio Exterior (BICE), in order to debate proposals and make contributions to the design of policies to invigorate the productive fabric.
We carry out a permanent follow-up of the industrial agenda, focusing on the production of SMEs. We monitor the evolution of industrial activity paying special attention to SMEs and their access to financing; we also present requests before the pertinent governmental bodies.
All business entities and chambers associated to UIA can appoint members to take part in the activities organized by the department.
