We analyze, debate and advance proposals related to the energy sector, both on the supply and demand sides, aimed at improving the competitiveness of the industrial sector.
We follow the evolution of the sector, monitoring that the supply satisfies the demand keeping a reserve of energy in order to guarantee quality, quantity and safety of energy provision at reasonable prices. We seek to strike a balance among the different energetic resources, considering the cost-benefit relation in their usage and aiming at an environment-friendly energetic matrix.
We also represent UIA on public and private forums related to the energy sector, both in Argentina and abroad.
We analyze the changing regulations of the sector and their incidence on the industrial activity; we write reports and studies to assess the impact of costs; we present requests and/or claims before the pertinent governmental bodies; and we advise the associates of UIA.
All business entities and chambers associated to UIA can appoint members to take part in the activities organized by the department.
